Vega Imaging Informatics is pleased to share that Luke Bideaux, BSRT, R.T.(R)(ARRT), CIIP, President and CEO of Vega Imaging Informatics, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the American Board of Imaging Informatics (ABII), effective January 1, 2026.
Luke’s selection reflects his long-standing commitment to advancing imaging informatics. Since founding Vega Imaging Informatics in 2018, Luke has led the company in delivering specialized consulting, managed services, data solutions, and workflow engineering support to healthcare organizations, radiology practices, and AI imaging companies.
Vega’s core offerings continue to support the evolving needs of the imaging informatics community. Vega Data provides high-quality de-identified medical imaging data to support AI model development while maintaining patient privacy. Vega Pro delivers a comprehensive suite of professional services designed for vendors and healthcare organizations worldwide. Vega Tech focuses on developing advanced AI solutions purpose-built for medical imaging, helping streamline workflows and foster meaningful innovation.
Luke earned his Bachelor of Science in radiologic technology from the University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota and completed a two-year radiography program at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He achieved his CIIP certification in 2012 and has since held leadership positions with imaging vendors, imaging providers, and healthcare technology consultancies.
He currently serves on several industry committees and work groups, including the Society of Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) Education Committee, the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Radiography Curriculum Revision Work Group, and the ABII Continuing Education Committee.
Regarding his appointment, Luke stated:
“I’m excited to join the ABII Board and contribute to initiatives that strengthen the profession. I’m passionate about promoting the value of the CIIP certification and look forward to exploring pathways for aspiring imaging informatics professionals to enter the field.”
